Can someone please help me with connecting to the internet on my CLAMSHELL

What OS are you running? The more detail the easier it is to help.

Do you have a Broadband Router with multiple Ethernet ports, or a DSL modem with only one port? Is it, in fact an Ethernet cable connection it provides, or something else?
Which model/color Clamshell.
When you say, "I am using a LAN connection from my home pc" do you mean you have pulled the cable out of your PC and connected it to your clamshell, or something else?
What ISP are you using? Do they require PPPoE?
What version of Mac OS?

- If necessary, do you have any CDs to install MacOS system software if necessary?

- What model iBook (called the "clamshell") or powerbook do you have?
